On Saturday, June 11th, Harper's Preserve hosted A Taste of Summer event, celebrating the Grand Opening of the new East Village sections of this Conroe area master-planned community.

Visitors were treated to a live band; free food by The Waffle Bus, Good Dog, Kona Ice and Ice Cream Party; a bungee trampoline, bounce house and face painting; as well as fun summer games including hula hoops and giant twister. The Needham Fire department was on hand with a ladder truck and fire hats for the kids.

Eight furnished model homes are open daily in Harper's Preserve, and guests were invited to visit these amazing homes to register to win a free summer vacation. The drawing opportunity is open until Monday, June 20th, so you still have time to stop out and tour all the model homes to be eligible for this contest. No purchase is necessary.

East Village has an impressive amenity package, including a scenic lake with fly fishing opportunities at the zero entry pebble beach, wildlife garden, playground, picnic area, community trail system, natural play areas, benches, a pedestrian bridge over the lake and additional park areas. Development of East Village amenities is underway; some projects are complete and some are still underway. Residents of East Village will also be able to use amenities in West Village, which includes a resort-style and pool barn.

Home builders in East Village include Ashton Woods, J. Patrick Homes, Gehan Homes, HIghland Homes, and Plantation Homes. In addition, Chesmar Homes and Plantation Homes are building patio homes in East Village. Homes range from the $260s to $600s.
