Congratulations to Conroe ISD for being awarded the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for the 2021-2022 budget year by The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO).

This award recognizes excellence in the best budget practices in school districts. 

Conroe ISD has participated in the MBA program for 22 years and is one of a small number of school districts out of the over 1,100 in the State of Texas to be recognized.

To be considered for this award, participants submit their applications and budget documents to a panel of school financial professionals who review the materials for compliance with the MBA Criteria Checklist and other requirements and provide expert feedback that districts can use to improve their budget documents.
