Hewlett Packard Enterprise Is Relocating To Houston Area
Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a global tech company, has announced that they will be relocating their headquarters from San Jose, California to Houston. HPE will be joining HP Inc., Southwestern Energy, the American Bureau of Shipping and Exxon Mobile in CityPlace at Springwoods Village.
Construction of the two five-story buildings at the southwest corner of East Mossy Oaks Road and Lake Plaza Drive are planned to be complete by Spring 2022. The 440,000 square foot state-of-the-art campus will feature a fitness center, cafe, kitchen, pharmacy, laboratory and office space. The central courtyard will include a multiuser basketball pavilion, fitness/yoga lawn, water feature, outdoor tables and a large green space.
Houston is HPE’s largest employment hub and the city provides a large market for recruiting diverse talent. U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady states, "When the new headquarters opens in Spring in 2022, it will bring thousands of jobs to the region in addition to supporting our tourism, hospitality and restaurant industries."
