Ranking second nationally in conferring associate degrees, LSC awarded 8,863 associate degrees and certifications for spring 2020. When campuses shut down in March, LSC was quick to add 5,301 online classes to make sure students were able to continue their academic goals.

Campuses reopened June 1 for designated staff and students. Online registration is currently available for the second summer session and fall enrollment. It is still unclear when face-to-face classes will occur, but LSC is using stimulus funds to purchase 5000 computers for students needing assistance this fall in preparation for increased online enrollment.
