Lone Star College-Creekside Center, located at 8747 West New Harmony Trail in The Woodlands, will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. in the main lobby. LSC-Creekside officially opened last December; the event on Friday will serve as the ceremonial opening and dedication of this state-of-the-art facility. Local political dignitaries as well as Lone Star College administrators will be in attendance.

Featuring courses in Petroleum Data Technology, Alternative Energy Certification, and Cisco certification, LSC-Creekside will serve an important role for the surrounding area, training students in fields relevant to the Houston area. The center will also hold core-complete transfer classes as well as pre-requisites for all health occupation certifications.

Spring 2016 classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 19 and advisors are available on-site to assist students through the application and registration process. LSC-Creekside is currently open as follows: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
