After being postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19, Montgomery’s Freedom Fest is excited to make its return this summer. The event will be hosted on July 3rd in Downtown Historic Montgomery with food, activities for the kids, Independence Day festivities, and much more. 

The City of Montgomery has been hard at work with partnering, sponsoring, and providing a safe, accessible, fun environment for welcoming back this year’s event.

The event is kicking off with an “Anything but a Trailer Parade, starting at 9 AM. Families can join in with vehicles of all kinds including cars, golf carts, bicycles, scooters, or even on foot! The parade is 100% free for families to join. 

Other events at the Montgomery Freedom Fest will include: 

• The Junior Creative Arts Show for the kids
• A Crafters Market with local services and products for sale
• The Kid Zone, featuring a bounce house, face painting, and oversized games
