Following a less than stellar district opener, the Oak Ridge High School women’s basketball team defeated Montgomery with ease at the home game Tuesday evening. The 12-6A game began with an early lead by the Lady War Eagles as the Montgomery Lady Bears turned over the ball more than 30 times. Ogechi Nwodo, LaDawn Carls and Alecia Whyte led Oak Ridge in points to defeat the Lady Bears 79-19, making their season record 14-7.
