Oak Ridge High Swimmer Makes the All-State Team
The Texas High School Coaches Association has chosen Oak Ridge’s Swimming and Diving Member, Caroline Alonzo, to join the Academic All-State First Team. Caroline is also the only athlete from Conroe ISD that was chosen for this prestigious Team. Oak Ridge High’s Swimming and Diving Team is led by Coach Jeff Spoon.
“THSCA provides the highest quality representation, education, and services to Texas high school coaches and affiliate members, and enhances the professionalism of coaches and the schools they represent.” This organization focuses on the well-being and performances of coaches as well as athletes in Cross Country, Volleyball, Football, Swimming and Diving, Basketball, Wrestling, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Track, Softball, and Baseball. Senior athletes who are determined to join the All-State Teams must be in good standing with their teams, maintain their coursework exceptionally well, and be “of good moral character.”
