The Original Halloween SpookTacular hosted at The Woodlands Children’s Museum
Looking for a great place to take your little ghouls, goblins, princesses and fairies this Halloween?
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is preparing the ultimate party – without anything scary.
The museum will be closed during the day on Friday, Oct. 31 to prepare for the popular event.
Then, at 4 p.m., staff will unveil the many child-friendly games, art projects and activities awaiting guests. Games will include Pin-the-Bowtie on the Skeleton, Dodging Donuts, Monster Ring Toss, Slimy Science and more.
Children will delight in the Halloween gross-out sensory area and explore the bone dig.
Alden Bridge Pediatric Dentistry and Urgent Care for Kids are serving as co-sponsors for the event. Kiwanis will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and drinks.
Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said the museum staff looks forward to hosting the SpookTacular each year.
“We go all out for Halloween,” she said. “It’s a holiday that presents some of the best opportunities to engage children in creative play – it’s all about costumes, acting, storytelling and art. And, of course, it’s so much safer than trying to navigate the streets at dusk.”
Costumes are encouraged. Admission to the Original Halloween SpookTacular Monster Mash Party for children is $7 for members and $9 for non-members.
Adult admission is $1. Presale tickets are available.
Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum has a full calendar of exciting activities. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. To learn more, visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org or call 281-465-0955.
