Here's some food for thought. In the past 10 years, two high schools in Conroe ISD — both in The Woodlands — have had nearly 275 students admitted to what are known as the top academic and athletic D1 colleges and universities in the country, schools that are concentrated on the East Coast. The Woodlands High School has had 57 students admitted to Ivy League schools such as Columbia University and Harvard University, while The Woodlands College Park High School has had 68 students admitted to that same group since 2010. Also, in the same time frame, The Woodlands High has had 91 students admitted to Patriot League schools such as American University and Boston University while The Woodlands College Park has had 55 students admitted.
