Students and Staff Recognized as Ambassadors by Board of Trustees
Conroe Independent School District’s Board of Trustees honored many individuals from the schools that students in Harper’s Preserve attend. The Ambassador Awards that are given out show that the recipients have made “positive contributions to campus life and campus climate.” This is a wonderful way to motivate students and staff to work hard and to keep improving their learning environment.
Conroe ISD Superintendent, Dr. Curtis Null, awarded students and staff from Harper’s Preserve’s schools in Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade, Irons Junior High and Suchma Elementary. From Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade, Hailey King (Student), Angie Hunt (Paraprofessional) and Celeste Aguirre (Educator) were recognized. From Irons Junior High, Dylan Avery (Student), Ashley Witkowski (Paraprofessional) and Karen Horrell (Educator) were honored.
Receiving the Ambassador Award is an astounding achievement for Suchma Elementary as it is only the first year the school has been operating! This new elementary school is excited to continue providing a great education and campus for its teachers, students, and parents. From Suchma Elementary, Brooklyn Pierce (Student), Buddy Heuermann (Paraprofessional) and Tracie Vickery (Educator) were recognized.
