The 47th annual Texas Renaissance Festival is returning to Todd Mission on October 9th. This year’s festival will feature exciting themed weekends and new entertainment, as well as new health and safety precautions. 

Here’s what you need to know before attending this year’s Texas Renaissance Festival. 

Dates: October 9 to November 28. 
Times: 9 AM - 8 PM
Admission: $13-$25 for tickets. Half-price admission for kids under 12 on Saturdays and free admission for them on Sundays. Tickets are date-specific.

Health and Safety
COVID-19 masks and vaccines are not required for visitors to enter. Festival employees, performers, and vendors are required to provide proof of vaccination or an approved exemption form. Vendors and employees are not required to wear masks unless mandated by the state. The festival grounds have 12 restrooms with running water as well as 190 hand sanitizer stations. For safety, the festival is encouraging social distancing. 

What’s New at the Texas Renaissance Festival
New shops and a wine tasting destination will be located by the Jousting Arena. A giant rocking horse is making an appearance this year for fun photo opportunities. The theater is hosting a new act called “Theatre of Fools.”
