The Woodlands Car Club and Market Street Come Together For A Cause
Have you ever wondered if you are required to pay the parking meters at Market Street? Residents of Harper’s Preserve are fortunate to have convenient access to all of the great amenities and community outreach The Woodlands offers. The parking meters at Market Street are a voluntary contribution that provide for local charities. Each quarter, The Woodlands Car Club couples their fund raising efforts with Market Street to provide to a chosen charity.
Recently, the combined efforts raised $11,000 which was donated to Inspiration Ranch who serves special needs clients and trauma victims. Inspiration Ranch plans to use the funds for their Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding and Equine-Assisted Mental Health programs.
The Woodlands Car Club event attendees and Market Street patrons have raised over $250,000 for local charities since they started their program. You can find The Woodlands Car Club in Market Street the first Sunday of every month.
So although you are not required to put money in any of the 68 parking meters, just know that your spare change can help contribute to a great cause.
