Woodlands Waterway Art Festival Goes Virtual
Did you know that the Woodlands Waterway Art Festival was named one of the top five art festivals in the world? The Woodlands has hosted the festival for the past 15 years at Town Park. Over 200 selected artists line up booths along The Woodlands Waterway in April.
This year, due to COVID-19, the festival was postponed and has recently chosen to host a free online festival Oct. 17-18. Guests will be able to engage with the 200 artists online booths. Viewers will be able to watch musical performances, follow hands-on children’s activities, and engage in informative artist panels.
A virtual “happy hour” will kick off the event on Oct. 16, allowing guests to watch tutorials on how to engage with the artists, decorate a home and more. An online silent auction will run from Oct. 14 - 18 offering work donated by 200 selected artists.
Support the arts and enjoy interacting and shopping with these hand selected artists around the world. Visit thewoodlandsartscouncil.org/p/festival for more information.
