The Wonders of the Woodlands (WOW!) Science Camp has been serving children in The Woodlands and surrounding areas since the mid-1990s. Founded by Barbara Cargill, the camp was established to bring summer enrichment and hands-on learning activities to children ages 3 to fourth grade.

Held at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, this years camp will host approximately 900 students compared to previous 1,100 in order to better observe COVID-19 safety protocols.

Activities are designed to be hands-on and reinforce what the children learn in the classroom and may include interacting with live animals and outdoor exercises. There is also an adults with disabilities program.
