Amateur and professional artists alike are invited to showcase their paintings, photography, jewelry, metal works, sculptures, digital art, mixed media and other works of art at Market Street’s 2015 Spring Fine Arts Show on Saturday, May 2 from 10 am – 7 pm.

Free and open to the public, the Spring Fine Arts Show at Market Street is one of the most popular gatherings for artists in The Woodlands where families can browse for great buys, enjoy live music and participate in artist demonstrations. Fun activities for aspiring artists of all ages also are scheduled.

More major retailers are setting up shop in The Woodlands - bringing more jobs to the area and helping to further strengthen the economy.

Costco built a new 153,000-square-foot store which is set to open Nov. 21 on a 17.5-acre site on the east side of Interstate 45 and Texas 242.

Whole Foods Market began construction on its new location in Hughes Landing over the summer, and H-E-B opened a store in the Creekside Park Village Center in October.

Harper's Preserve residents enjoyed an early visit from Santa Claus on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Harpers Preserve West Village Recreational Center Pool Barn.

From 1 to 4 pm, visitors enjoyed free photos with Santa, gourmet coffee & hot chocolate from Java Pura, holiday brownies from Fairytale Brownies and entered into the door prize drawing for a chance to win door prizes provided by Highland Homes and Plantation Homes.
