The Woodlands area offers many fun family events for Harper's Preserve residents to enjoy!

Christmas in a Kayak!

Come to Riva Row Boat House in the Woodlands for some fun with Santa! Santa will join in this kayaking adverture to Northshore Park for a present hunt. Any age child must be accompanied by an adult to ride in a kayak. $45 per child/parent pair.

A holiday tradition in The Woodlands Town Center, the annual Thanksgiving Day Run Thru the Woods Sponsored by GE and Directed by the South Montgomery County YMCA, is a race/walk designed for all ages and levels of fitness. This year marks the event’s 24th year as one of Texas’ premier running and walking family events. The 2013 event which should attract more than 6000 participants is both a family event and a serious running event, enticing for the competitive racer, weekend warrior, recreational runner, kids and walkers.

During Harper's Preserve Shopportunity Days Event prospective buyers visited Highland Homes, Plantation Homes and Brighton Homes model homes and registered to win a $250 Woodlands Mall gift card. No purchase was necessary to win. 

Kathlen Fulcher of New Caney, TX was the lucky winner of the grand prize. Fulcher is a mother of four and works in the Woodlands area. She loves that Harpers Preserve has easy access to all the conveniences The Woodlands area offers.

The Woodlands Waterway Trolley, which offers free transportation throughout The Woodlands Town Center, will expand its service during the holiday season.

Beginning November 15, 2013 through January 15, 2014, the Township will operate three trolleys to improve accessibility to shopping, dining and entertainment venues throughout The Woodlands Town Center during the holiday season with continuous daily service from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Trolley is expected to be at each stop every 15 minutes.
