Montgomery County Food Bank Launches Stock the Sleigh Food Drive

The Montgomery County Food Bank just Kicked off their annual Stock the Sleigh food drive on November 1st. They will be accepting donations through December 3rd. 

 

A recent news release disclosed that last year, The Montgomery County Food Bank raised over 70,000 pounds of groceries and food supplies, along with ample monetary donations from the community.

 

MCFB’s goal this year is to collect 100,000 pounds of food, to meet the increased demand during the holiday season. 

 

Coming Soon: New Chick-Fil-A Location Opening in Conroe

A New Chick-Fil-A location in The Woodlands will be opening across from the H-E-B, located at 10057 Hwy. 242, in Conroe. The Chick-Fil-A corporate team in the area announced they are still in the early stages of planning but are looking forward to working through the approval process with the city of Conroe. 

If all goes to plan and the city moves forward, Chick-Fil-A plans to open their new Conroe location sometime near the end of 2022.
