Texas Taco Tequila and Music Festival Comes to Conroe, October 2

It’s that time of year again! The annual Texas Taco Tequila and Music Festival is coming back to Conroe on October 2nd. It will feature local taquerias, fresh tacos, local food trucks, tequila distilleries, live music, and more. In fact, over 30 taco vendors in total will be attending the event, serving world-class tacos and signature margaritas. The event will also have a children’s zone with fun and games for the kids.

Conroe ISD Sets COVID Policies for the 2021-22 School Year

In a board of trustees meeting held on July 20, Conroe ISD presented an updated plan to return the district to in-person classroom instruction. The Roadmap for Remaining Open states their new COVID-19 policies provides recommendations for students and faculty, as well as ways that our schools will be better protected against the spread of coronavirus. 

Glamp Woodlands Brings Luxury Tents to The Woodlands Area

The luxury tent rental business Glamp Woodlands recently opened for booking for residents in The Woodlands and the surrounding areas. Owner Erin Hayes is setting up luxury, furnished tents for everything from birthdays to bridal showers. All of their tents have their own, curated boho theme, and feature pillows, soft furnishings, rugs, pillows, blankets, side tables, and tons of great floor decor. They are also open for indoor sleepover booking options as well. 

Lake Conroe Queen, 60-passenger double-deck boat, open for cruises

The Lake Conroe Queen is a double-deck paddle boat that can hold 60 passengers at once! Better yet, they opened their doors for public and private cruises, just this past June of 2021.  They are offering sunset cruises on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 8:30 pm, and may even be expanding Sunday from 5 PM to 6:30 PM as well.
