Shea Homes Model Home Now Complete in Harper's Preserve
Award-winning home builder Shea Homes has a new model home now complete in the gated community of Harper’s Preserve in Conroe. Shea Homes opened operations in Houston in 2014 and while still fairly new to the Houston market, is one of the largest privately-owned home builders in the country having closed more than 100,000 homes nationwide.
Opening Soon: Grab N Go Tacos in Montgomery
According to the restaurant’s website, the fifth location of Grab N Go Tacos is scheduled to open in late 2021 or early 2022. They’ll be serving up their classic and specialty street tacos, fusion tacos, margaritas, and other Mexican food favorites.

Conroe ISD Offers Virtual First Semester for 2021-22 Students
Conroe ISD Superintendent Curtis Null made a breaking announcement on August 6th. In response to the recent boom in COVID-19 cases, Conroe ISD will offer a limited virtual program for pre-K through 6th-grade students who are not eligible for vaccinations.
Texas Taco Tequila and Music Festival Comes to Conroe, October 2
It’s that time of year again! The annual Texas Taco Tequila and Music Festival is coming back to Conroe on October 2nd. It will feature local taquerias, fresh tacos, local food trucks, tequila distilleries, live music, and more. In fact, over 30 taco vendors in total will be attending the event, serving world-class tacos and signature margaritas. The event will also have a children’s zone with fun and games for the kids.
Conroe ISD Sets COVID Policies for the 2021-22 School Year
In a board of trustees meeting held on July 20, Conroe ISD presented an updated plan to return the district to in-person classroom instruction. The Roadmap for Remaining Open states their new COVID-19 policies provides recommendations for students and faculty, as well as ways that our schools will be better protected against the spread of coronavirus.
