Mask Update for Conroe ISD
Mask Update: Effective June 1
Starting June 1st, Conroe ISD will be recommending masks for staff and their students, but they will be making masks and facial coverings optional. The school district is still observing their community’s rate of COVID-19 vaccinations and seeking guidance from public health officials on whether they will continue this optional mask policy through the 2021-2022 school year.

Teacher Training Center for Conroe ISD to be Built Next to Woodforest Bank
Construction has started on the brand new Conroe Independent School District teacher training center. The training center will be built next to Woodforest Bank Stadium, just off of David Memorial Drive, Shenandoah.
According to a recent update from Conroe ISD, this new facility will be replacing the Jett Center. They project that they will be opening in the spring of 2022.

On Friday, Deacon Baldy’s will be having a fundraiser for one of their bartenders Natasha. Natasha has been diagnosed with Systemic Mastocytosis, and the fundraiser will help her cover her medical bills. A percentage of the bar proceeds will go to the Mueller family. All of the profits from raffle items donated that night will also be given to the Mueller family.

From pop hits and covers, all the way to jazz and Latin music ––– there will be something for everyone in The Woodland’s free concert series.
You can listen to the music and watch these free concerts from the nearby restaurant patios, if you like. Or if you prefer, there is also plenty of room to bring your own chairs and blankets for sitting in the park. Concerts are happening weekly in April through May, so make sure you don't miss them!
