Looking for something to do this long 4th of July weekend? Drees Custom Homes has opened their new model home in Harper's Preserve and it will be open this weekend for touring!

The popular local pizza franchise, Crust Pizza, has recently opened a new location in Harper’s Preserve Market Place.

Crust was originally opened in Panther Creek in 2011 by long time friends, Mark Rasberry and Clint Price. Their vision was an upscale pizza restaurant with a family friendly atmosphere.

Looking to spice up your Taco Tuesday rotation? Baja Cantina & Fiesta has recently opened a restaurant at 24 Waterway Ave., Ste. 160.  The restaurant will have a similar style as their food truck, California Baja Fusion Cuisine, that serves from Gosling Road in Spring.

Empire Communities Model Home Harper's Preserve

Looking for fun and educational activities for the kids this summer? The Woodland’s Children’s Museum, a nonprofit entity, opened doors in 2010. The museum has recently reopened in Panther Creek. The museum will offer preticketed admission and operate at a 50% capacity to maintain social distancing. 

There are four block times for tickets: 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Admission to the museum is $7.

Additional summer activities include:

One-week summer workshops - various ages and themes such as Legos, superhero, science and the arts.
