Harper's Preserve residents walked and "stomped" over to the West Village Pool Barn for Fright Night in Harper's Preserve sponsored by Sam Yager, Inc, the developer of Harper's Preserve on Saturday, October 22nd from 5pm-9pm.

Resident families and their guests were invited out for a fun night of games, a costume contest and a movie on the lawn. Kids of all ages wore costumes and played fun games such as the pumpkin roll, rubber chicken toss, a hula hoop contest, and a mini-pumpkin on a spoon race.  Every child who participated won a toy prize.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the 21st Annual Children’s Festival at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The event is 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12 and 12:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. The festival will include performances, interactive activities and character meet and greets.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will be receiving new updates in the next year. The expansion is to include a new VIP Club, new operations building, updated concession stands and renovations to the dressing rooms. The $11 million construction project will begin later this month and is projected to be completed by July of 2017. You can read more about the expansion here!

The Oak Ridge Women’s Volleyball team remained undefeated following a win earlier this week. The three-set victory against the Montgomery Bears sweetened the already celebratory Teacher’s Appreciation Night at the high school. With Wednesday’s win, the Lady War Eagles have won 37 games in a row. You can read more about the Oct. 5 game here!

Harper's Preserve hosted a complimentary continuing education class, Legal Update I, taught by Rob Cook, on Tuesday, October 4th in the Highland Homes 55' model home for area Realtors.
 
Agents enjoyed breakfast, class and a chance to win door prizes compliments of the builders in Harper's Preserve: Ashton Woods, Drees Custom Homes, Chesmar Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, J. Patrick Homes, and Plantation Homes. Lunch was served in the Highland Homes 65' model home.
