Suchma Elementary is now participating in Girls on the Run, a non-profit after school program that promotes self-development and a healthy lifestyle! Girls on the Run is a ten to twelve-week program for girls in the third to sixth grade that ends with a celebratory 5k.

Oak Ridge High Students Named All-State Musicians

The Texas Music Educators Association has named eight All-Staters from Oak Ridge High School! 

 

Oak Ridge High has an All State Bassist in Orchestra who received this recognition two years in a row! The Orchestra department is directed by the talented, Ms. Mindy Florian. The War Eagles’ Band has five All-State Musicians who are led by Band Director, Mr. Jerriald Dillard. Oak Ridge’s Choir has two All-State Choir Members who are directed by Mrs. West and Mr. Kang.
