Students and Staff Recognized as Ambassadors by Board of Trustees
Conroe Independent School District’s Board of Trustees honored many individuals from the schools that students in Harper’s Preserve attend. The Ambassador Awards that are given out show that the recipients have made “positive contributions to campus life and campus climate.” This is a wonderful way to motivate students and staff to work hard and to keep improving their learning environment.
Kung Fu Tea Opens in the Woodlands
A popular bubble tea chain has made its way to the Woodlands! Kung Fu Tea brings a wide variety of flavored Taiwanese-style teas and toppings to the College Park area which is only ten minutes away from the community. Residents used to have to drive an hour to Houston’s Chinatown area for their tea cravings, but not anymore! The bright space makes Kung Fu Tea an optimal spot to study or work at, too!

Oak Ridge High Student Wins Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway
Dr. Pepper has chosen Oak Ridge High’s, Destiny Alfred, as one of the grand-prize recipients of their amazing Tuition Giveaway! Destiny plans to attend Texas Woman’s University to pursue her dreams of becoming a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. She wants to help others because she has had two open-heart surgeries and credits her life to the doctors who performed them.
